How to Collect Pokemon Skateboard Decks

To collect Pokémon skateboard decks, first identify the release year and card artwork, then mark Owned or Wanted in the local checklist. Compare the full official image and distinguish a sealed bag retail price from an opened design’s price before choosing a buying source.

Step 1: establish the year and full artwork

Start with a full-length graphic photograph and any packaging. Compare it with the correct official collection: 2023 character artwork or 2026 TCG card artwork. Do not rely on the seller’s title, a purchase date or a single familiar Pokémon.

For a standard 2026 design, read the printed card title and number. Charizard 4/102 and the two M Charizard EX designs, 13/106 and 69/106, have different identities. Rayquaza Gold Star 107/107 is standard; the chase designs are multi-card gold collages.

Step 2: make a consistent condition record

  • Take photographs of the full graphic, top surface, nose, tail and both edges in even light.
  • Note scratches, dents, wear, grip tape, hardware marks or other alterations without assigning an unsupported grade.
  • Record whether the bag was sealed, who supplied the deck and what accessories were included. Keep receipts private.
  • When comparing prices, use the same year, exact design, currency and similar condition; do not mix a sealed bag with an opened deck.

Step 3: keep your collection record useful

The checklist lets you mark a deck as owned or wanted and explicitly save that list in this browser. It is a personal organizational tool, not proof of ownership or a cloud account. Keep a separate copy of important records: clearing browser data or changing devices can remove the saved list.

For display, choose secure mounting appropriate to the deck and wall, avoid leaving the graphic in direct sunlight, and follow the manufacturer’s guidance. Check any sleeve or mounting method before it touches the finish. These are general handling suggestions; we have not tested archival materials or a long-term preservation method for this release.
